Jon Beach

I am a Major in the United States Air Force currently stationed at Maxwell Air Force Base, Montgomery AL.  In college my friends and I obsessively made movies.  Sometimes to the detriment of my grades.  Once commissioned in the military I transitioned to community theater, which I have loved, and photography.  My real passion on stage is set and lighting design.  For years I wanted to marry the passion for art that I find in the community theater world and my passion for movies. 

I am going to be in Montgomery for only 10 months and due to that fact Uncle Sam was unable to get my wife, also in the Air Force, and our two beautiful children down here with me.  So confronted with more free time then I know what to do with and a strong desire to not sit at home every night and sob into my beer, I decided to do what any sane person would do.  Make a movie.  Thankfully technology advanced enough in the last 10 years that the possibility of making a truly stunning movie on a small budget is now within reach. 

I am hoping to find a good set of actors and actresses who want to take the leap from the stage to the front of the camera and see how good of a movie we can make together.
